Coach Carabillo rowed for Simsbury High School. In her senior year, her boat was second at the Stotesbury Cup and third at the New England Championships. She continued rowing for four years at Northeastern University. A Simsbury coach since 1989, she coached novice boys for five years, and has been coaching varsity boys since 1994. She coached the 2004 boys varsity to a silver medal at NEIRA and a berth in the UsRowing Youth Invitational. Coach identifies rowers who may be eligible for Junior National consideration. She received US Rowing Coaching Level III Certification in 2001. During the summer months, She manages programs for developing and aspiring rowers. Coach Carabillo tends to boathouse upkeep and equipment repair in between programs. She is also the president of the CPSRA and is the head seeder for the boys eight at the NEIRA.

Coach Raymond is a 1992 graduate of Simsbury High School. His rowing continued at Northeastern University for 2 years. After a transfer to CCSU he began coaching at Simsbury. Mark is a UsRowing Level III certified coach who has coached at several levels, including novice boys, JV boys, JV girls and boys, and varsity girls. Mark coached the 3rd boats to bronze medals at the 2003 NEIRA. He serves at the head seeder for the girls eight at NEIRA and CPSRA. During Coach Raymond's tenure at Simsbury several athletes have gone on to Jr. National selection, development camps, and continue to row in college. Coach Letson is a graduate of NEIRA league member Noble and Greenough a 1996 and 1997 winner of NEIRA 1st 4 and Youth National Championship. She attended University of Virginia and is a graduate of University of Kentucky. She is married to Simsbury alumni cox and coach Michael Letson.

Coach Leonard is a 1997 graduate of Simsbury high school. She has returned to coaching after her maternity leave last fall. Coach Leonard is a former team captain. She continued her rowing career at Marist College. There she met Adam an athlete on the men's team. Meghan is a grade five teacher at Central school. She lives in town with Adam and their baby girl Riley.
