Running a program of this size is a rewarding passion. Coaches, FOSC Board members and parents spend countless hours keeping this program at the highest level of competition.
Rowing is a special sport. There are no "super stars" on a crew. All members of the crew must work together for the crew to succeed. As one crew coach said "..crew is a true team sport. All crew members MUST work together for the crew to obtain their goals. One crew member not working in tandem with the crew and ALL 9 members fail..."
The same holds true for the FOSC. We need volunteers for many behind the scenes activities and support programs. All are welcome to help with activities such as "common table", arrangements, ways & means, publicity, etc. All of our programs are a success only if we all work together to meet our goal, providing the premier public school crew in the state.
